9:30- 10:05 a.m. | Home Away From Home | Falcons Nest First Floor, University Center | You probably have a lot of questions about your future home and what it’s going to feel like when they’re here. This session is for you to learn how Residence Life can support you, tools for selecting a roommate, and how to prepare for move-in. |
10:10- 10:40 a.m. | Be Financially Prepared | Falcons Nest First Floor, University Center | Financial Aid and Student Billing share details on how to be prepared for the financial aspects of college. |
10:45- 11:30 a.m. | Optional Campus Tour and Next Steps Stations | Falcons Nest First Floor, University Center | Explore the place you are about to call home with our current student Falcon Guides. |
11:35 a.m.- 12:40 p.m. | Register for classes (Students) | Various | This time is reserved for you to meet an adviser and talk about your major, minor, prior credits, and more, so you’re prepared to register for your first semester’s classes. |
Letting Grow (Guests) | Falcon's Nest, First Floor, University Center | Supporting your student through their transition to college can be exciting and overwhelming. Join us in hearing some insightful stories on how you can help your student make the most of their time at UWRF. | |
12:45- 1 p.m. | Your New Student Transition Experience | Falcon's Nest, First Floor, University Center | Walk through your entire summer transition experience from today, to move-in and Orientation, to your first day of class. |
1 p.m. | Next Steps, Optional Tours | Campus Farm, Mann Valley Lab Farm, Falcon Center | Make sure you complete the below steps if you haven’t already before leaving campus:
