The staff of Ability Services receive a lot of gratification from working with college students. We invite you to contact us with any questions, comments, or concerns. However, even though we are arranging their accommodations, it's rare that we meet in-person with students. These are reasons:

• Successful college students are very busy people
• The office must function in ways that minimizes the time required to produce accommodations and maximizes the potential for students to be independent
  
• To obtain common kinds of accommodations students only have to send forms that explain what they need
  
• Most other contacts from students usually come by email or brief phone conversations
  
• Some student's may avoid coming in-person because they don't want classmates to notice them in the "disability office"
