The word disability can have many definitions. For the purpose of this office, the general definition of a disability is any health, body, or brain issue that substantially challenges the ability to pursue a college education. Thus, some people may think that certain issues are not a disability, when actually they really are. So examples of issues that could be considered a disability are:

• A severe skin issue
• A severe breathing issue
• Cancer
