There are many great scholarship opportunities available for incoming students to UW-River Falls! Below are just a few of the scholarships we have highlighted for the new students in Fall 2013. To see the entire list of incoming student scholarship opportunities, click here.
Chancellor's Scholarships: Full tuition and half tuition scholarships that are renewable for up to four years. Annual tuition for a currently-enrolled, full-time student is approximately $8,200. Chancellor's Scholar finalists will be selected amongst students considered for the Falcon Scholars scholarship.
Falcon Scholars: $1,000 scholarships are renewable for up to four years; includes an additional $2,000 stipend that may be used for undergraduate research or to study abroad during your junior or senior year. Students considered for Falcon Scholars must meet one of the below qualifications:
An interview is required of all finalists considered for the scholarship.
Freshman Merit Scholarship: $1,000 one-time scholarship for students who are in the top 5 percent of their class AND have earned an ACT score of 28 or higher.
To be considered for Fall 2013 incoming student scholarships, students must be admitted to River Falls no later than January 11, 2013.
Students will need to fill out an online scholarship application upon admission. The best way to ensure you are considered for incoming student scholarships is to apply for admission early at apply.wisconsin.edu
