The University Archives and Area Research Center is located in room 170 of the lower level of the Chalmer Davee Library at 120 Cascade Avenue in River Falls.

On Saturdays you may park in lot B2 behind South Hall, right next to the Chalmer Davee Library's lower level entrance.
Planning a Visit
The University Archives and Area Research Center is open to researchers of all ages.
In order to get the most out of your visit, it is important that you be prepared and organized.
- Have a clear idea of what you already know to be fact and what questions you hope to get answered.
- Visit our Archives Resources page, or call or e-mail
to determine exactly what resources we have and whether they might be helpful to you. - Researching historical records takes time so plan on spending long enough to be effective.
- Once you get here, don't be afraid to ask questions. We're here to help you get the most out of your visit.
- Read our "Rules for Using the Research Room" before you come so you are familiar with our special rules.
- A self-service copier, microfilm readers/printers/scanner, and a regular scanner are available for use. Look at our fees before you come.
