Today our local ACM chapter got our robot functional! We started with a pile of parts and somehow ended up with a robot. In about two hours the robotics team successfully built the basic 'Tumbler' design included in the Vex Robotics kit. We skipped a few steps which lead to some awkward problems at first, but a few minor tweaks and we had a full-fledged remote control robot! (October 20, 2011)
