Admission to Teacher Education
Initial Certification Graduate Programs

Graduate students who are seeking initial teaching license may apply for Admission to the Education Preparation Program (EPP) during their first semester. Formal admission to the EPP is required to enroll in courses which have a prerequisite of Admission to Teacher Education.  Please note this is a separate process from Admission and acceptance to Graduate School.

Minimum Requirements
  • 2.75 Undergraduate Grade Point Average
  • Passing scores on the Praxis I exam
  • Autobiography
  • Two Recommendations
