Please review the following application requirements carefully:

Applications received and postmarked on or before February 1st will be considered for program entrance the following fall semester. You are encouraged to check your application status frequently by calling the Admissions Office at (715) 425-3500. Incomplete and late applications will not be considered.

To be considered for admission, an applicant must have a minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 (with 3.0 or higher preferred) and submit the following items. Hard copies of items 2 through 5 (i.e., letter of interest, letters of recommendation, transcripts, conduct and competency review) and the application fee must be mailed to the Admissions Office, at the address below, on or before February 1st.

2. A written letter of interest, using REQUIRED FORM
3. Three letters of recommendation, using REQUIRED STRUCTURE GUIDELINES
4. OFFICIAL transcripts from all undergraduate schools attended (required) and graduate schools attended (if applicable) 
5. Conduct and Competency Review
6. $56 application fee
7. OPTIONAL: Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores are NOT REQUIRED but will be considered, if official forms are submitted.

Hard copies of items 2 through 5 and a check for the application fee must be mailed to the following address. 

An Admissions Office representative will organize a file on your behalf with all mailed materials along with a copy of your on-line application form. Final admission decisions are typically made by March 1st. Admitted applicants must notify the program of their intentions no later than April 15th.

NOTE: The program faculty does not formally interview applicants. Prospective students are encouraged to schedule campus visits or speak with a faculty member about the field of school psychology and/or specific aspects of the UW-RF program. Additionally, all applicants and prospective students are encouraged to attend the program's annual open house.

The next program open house will be held in January of 2014. This event will be held on the UW-RF campus and will include an introduction of the faculty, a current student panel, question and answer opportunities, a tour of facilities, and a presentation by a school psychology scholar. Additional details about this event will be made available in the fall of 2013.
