I started at UWRF in May of 2009 as an LTE police officer. In September of 2010 I was hired full time by the department. Before my employment at UWRF I worked in law enforcement with both St. Croix County Sheriff's Department and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. I did not know what to expect as a police officer on a college campus—that being said, I really found my place with this community and demographic! Prior to my career in law enforcement, I was the Director of Operations for a non-profit animal sanctuary. I received my BS from UWRF in 2012 in sociology with a criminal justice minor. I am currently attending Metropolitan State University to obtain an MS degree in criminal justice.
I was born and raised in the St. Croix County area, where I still currently live with my husband, three sons, one dog, and two cats. My hobbies include playing volleyball, cooking, hiking, photography, knitting, and travel. The pastime I enjoy the most is spending time with the gaggle of boys in my life.
It is a privilege to be a member of the CSAC. Together, we can work as a team in order to best serve the classified staff and the University.
