What is the Classified Staff Advisory Council (CSAC)?

As members of the classified staff at UW-River Falls we have the opportunity to participate in shaping decisions made by the governance groups and administration, a privilege not afforded to classified staff on all UW campuses.  This is possible through the Classified Staff Advisory Council (CSAC).  Created in 2011, CSAC promotes ongoing education, professional development activities and communication between classified employees and the broader university community.  The council members will serve as advisors to the chancellor and other university administrators when decisions are being made that affect our campus.  CSAC will also provide a forum for all classified staff employees (represented, non-represented, limited term-recurring, and project appointment) and for interactions with members of the university community, including faculty, staff, and students.
