Housing is available on campus in an air-conditioned dorm for $25/night during the summer. We have arrangements with a local hotel that provides lodging at the state rate during the academic year for those students needing overnight lodging while enrolled in the Montessori program. Take Courses for Professional Development or Personal Enrichment

You don't have to be admitted into a degree or certificate program to take courses at UW-River Falls. We offer a variety of classes each term that are designed to enhance the skills of educators or education professionals. 

You do need to be admitted as a student before registering for classes, however, and meet the minimum requirements for admission. You can apply online and if you are not entering as a degree seeking student you will not pay an admission fee. Just follow the instructions for Taking Classes for Credit.

Admissions Requirements

Students must have a bachelor’s degree to take graduate-level courses but teaching certification or licensure is not required.

You need to be admitted as a UW-River Falls graduate student before registering for classes. See Taking Classes for Credit for application instructions and requirements.

Once you've been admitted as a student you will receive instructions on how to register online.
