Take Courses for Professional Development or Personal Enrichment

You don't have to be admitted into a degree or certificate program to take courses at UW-River Falls. We offer a variety of classes each term that are designed to enhance the skills of educators or education professionals. 

You do need to be admitted as a student before registering for classes, however, and meet the minimum requirements for admission. You can apply onlinelink and if you are not entering as a degree seeking student you will not pay an admission fee. Just follow the instructions for Taking Classes for Credit.

Admissions Requirements

Students must have a bachelor’s degree to take graduate-level courses but teaching certification or licensure is not required.

You need to be admitted as a UW-River Falls graduate student before registering for classes. See Taking Classes for Credit for application instructions and requirements.

Once you've been admitted as a student you will receive instructions on how to register online.
