Riverside Commons

Riverside Commons is an all-you-care-to-eat venue which offers a variety of menu options each day in a buffet style setting. It serves the primary dining facility for meal plan participants, offers continuous dining and is a dine-in facility only (there are no to-go boxes or transfer meals out of this venue).

Dining Services and Sodexo are taking steps toward improving our Gluten-free selections in Riverside Commons.  We have expanded our gluten free section to include: cereals, breads, muffins, sandwiches, donuts, pizzas, trail mixes, and milk. 

• Standard breakfast menu includes a mix of the following items:
  eggs, pancakes, waffles, French toast, hash browns, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, cold cereal, and pastries are commonly served breakfast items. 
  
• Standard lunch menu includes a mix of the following items:
  salads, soups, and sandwiches are available during lunch.  Items such as burgers, grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, pizzas, pastas, and desserts are also available during the lunch hours.
  
• Standard dinner menu includes a mix of:
  salads, soups, and sandwiches are also available during the lunch hours.  Similar items are served during lunch and dinner.  However, the burger and fries menu typically changes to a hearty main course.  Also, during the dinner meal period is when premium and theme meals will occur on occasion.
• Standard brunch menu is served on Saturdays and Sundays and consists of a mix of breakfast and lunch items.
  

Transfer Meal Venue Options

Pete’s Creek Market

Pete's Creek Market is the primary transfer location during the weekdays. Lunches include daily home-style specials selected by our Chef along with rotisserie chicken or cold items such as sandwiches and salads.  Dinner and Late Night feature authentic southwestern style burritos, tacos, quesadillas along with freshly made taco salads, nachos, chips and salsa.  A variety of sandwiches and salads will also be available for both cash and transfer specials.

Freddy’s Convenience Store

Freddy’s Convenience Store is conveniently located on the main level of the University Center, and serves as the primary evening and weekend transfer venue.  Cold menu options will be offered, including sandwiches and salads for transfer beginning at 4 p.m. Friday, and 10:30 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
