Life in China
As a student abroad with the Experience China program, you will be involved in a myriad of activities. You'll live in a close-knit community of ExC participants, with a wealth of formal and informal opportunities to engage in the Zhejiang International Studies University (ZISU) campus, and larger community of Hangzhou, China. See the photos below for some insight into the student experience with ExC.
Home sweet home - Fang Cao Yuan Hotel, on the ZISU campus, will be your home for the semester.
Your bedroom.
You'll enjoy your meals in the ZISU dining hall alongside other students and faculty.
Classes will be with other ExC students.
A track is available right outside the hotel for exercise, and getting involved with ZISU athletic activities.
You'll spend approximately 4 hours per week helping ZISU students and community members perfect their English language skills in the English Language Corner.
Bike rentals are available throughout the city, making it easy to explore your new surroundings!
You'll have ample opportunities to indulge in the local Chinese cuisine.
Field trips will allow you to explore new activities, such as learning calligraphy in the village of Lanting...
