2.5.1 Chancellor’s Cabinet
For purposes of coordinating, planning, and administration, the Chancellor uses the Chancellor’s
Cabinet. The Chancellor’s Cabinet is composed of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance, the Special Assistant to the Chancellor, the Associate Vice Chancellors for Academic Affairs, Enrollment Services, and Student Affairs, and the Executive Director of Advancement.
2.5.2 Chancellor’s Council
The purpose of the Chancellor’s Council is to aggregate members of the senior leadership team in a discussion forum on issues critical to the institution. The Chancellor’s Council serves as a setting for dialogue about significant and difficult issues under the guidance of a moderator. The purpose of these discussions is to move issues toward resolution. Resolution will be achieved by identifying critical questions and action items, which will subsequently be assigned to policymaking bodies or subgroups of the Chancellor’s Council. Moderators will be selected from the membership of the Chancellor’s Council based upon area of expertise and interest and the issue under consideration.
