UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
Please join us in bringing this vital instrument back to its original luster so students, alumni, faculty and community members may enjoy the sounds of the organ for many years to come.
Since its installation in 1974, the pipe organ is a visible sign in Abbott Hall that distinguishes UWRF from other similar sized campuses in the University of Wisconsin system. It represents an understanding of the primary role of the arts in a liberal education through studying the art of organ playing.
Students desire to study the pipe organ on this campus because it is an expressive instrument in solo performance, accompaniment for choirs, and collaboration with numerous combinations of instruments. It is time to look to the future and prepare the Hendrickson organ for twenty-first century teaching and performance practices.
Thank you for supporting this effort!
