During winter break/J-term (December 20, 2013 - January 24, 2014) only residents who have a signed and approved J-term/Winter housing contract will have door access to their hall using their student ID card. No special accommodations will be made to provide residents access to their hall, room, and items in their room if they do not have a signed housing contract - they must wait until the Saturday of Spring semester move-in to have access to their room.
All requests for J-term housing must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2013, or starting again on Thursday, January 2, 2014. Due to limited staffing over the holidays, J-term housing requests submitted between Dec 20 and Jan 2 will not be processed.
J-term Housing Dates: Saturday, Dec 21, 2013 - Saturday, Jan 25, 2014
All J-term housing charges will be placed on your university eSIS account. Once your request is approved, you will be billed a weekly rate regardless the amount of nights you stay in a week time period.
There are two different categories of students staying during the semester break/J-term period. Therefore there are two different costs. Please make sure to include a detailed explanation of why you are needing housing during the J-Term period. Please include all dates that you will need housing.
University Affiliated Category - $35/week charge″
University Non-Affiliated Category - $75/week charge″
