Move-in is one of the most exciting days of your college life; it is the day you’ll make UWRF your official new home! It can also be one of the most nerve-wrecking times, as you prepare to pack your belongings and maybe even leave home for the first time. As you prepare to leave for campus, make sure to review our suggestions for what to bring, and see what we already provide in your room in Your New Home.

Ticketing for cars without a parking permit lots begins: Tuesday, Sept. 3, 6:30 p.m..
Student parking permit pick-up begins Saturday, Aug. 31.

The Department of Residence Life at UWRF believes that moving in to your residence hall is a step toward your personal and academic success.
Please go to the hall you are living in for the academic year to pick up your keys.

As of Friday, August 30, 2013: UWRF will no longer be accepting special requests for early arrival on-campus.
FAQ: Where can I stay if I arrive early, before my assigned check-in day?
Answer: You may stay at any of the hotels in River Falls or Hudson, WI. The Riverview Hotel and Suites is directly adjacent to UWRF. You may use hotels.com or another hotel web site to book your room.
Due to the high traffic and congestion on campus during the Move In weekend, we request that animals not be brought to campus, including dogs. Service Animals are approved and welcomed on campus anytime.
