Incoming Student Audition Repertoire
Incoming students who will audition for entrance to the Music Department may find recommended audition repertoire for their voice or instrument in the following list. If you have questions about the audition material or repertoire, please contact the UWRF Music Department Applied Instructor in your area.
As a general recommendation, incoming students may perform the following:
Instrumentalists and Vocalists - Perform two contrasting works or movements,i.e.,
1. one slow solo, etude, or song - demonstrating, phrasing, tone, intonation, etc..
2. one fast solo, etude, or song - demonstrating, technical skill, instrumental or vocal ability, etc..
Instrumentalists Only- selected major scales to demonstrate tone, technique, and scale knowledge.
Oboe: Audition

Trombone: Audition
Double Bass: Audition
