Taking Care of Business (TCOB) is a living and learning community for first year students who are pursuing majors in accounting, business administration, computer science and information science, or economics.  The TCOB community creates purposeful links among the academic, residential, and social elements of the undergraduate experience.  During the year, students will share some General Education courses and the College of Business Orientation course that applies to the major.

The following General Education courses are required of participants in the Taking Care of Business Learning Community:

Fall Semester (3.5 credits)

• CBE 100 (Orientation to the College of Business and Economics)
• COMS 116 (Business and Professional Communication)
  

Spring Semester (6 credits)

• ENGL 100 (Academic Reading/Writing)
  
• ECON 202 (Principles of Macroeconomics)
