All high school Science Olympiad teams are invited to the 2nd Annual UW-River Falls “Border Battle” Science Olympiad Open Invitational Tournament for Division C.

Teams from Wisconsin and Minnesota will compete in all 23 National Science Olympiad events as well as the 5 trial events from Wisconsin on the campus of the University of Wisconsin – River Falls.

Teams will NOT need to provide an event supervisor as UW-River Falls will be running every event, providing coaches with the opportunity to coach their students and observe the tournament, without the stress of creating and supervising an event during the competition!

Individual medals will be awarded to the top finishers in every event, with the total number of medals determined by the number of participating teams. Team trophies will also be awarded to the top performing teams in both large and small school divisions. In addition, a spirit award will be given to the school that displays the best attitude, as voted on by the event supervisors and all competitors will receive a souvenir t-shirt.

The cost for participating in the tournament is $75 per team, which will be used to help offset the cost of awards and facilities fees. If this cost is a hardship for any team, they are asked to contact Earl Blodgett, tournament director.
