The Parking Department is authorized by Wisconsin Administrative Codes 18.05 and 18.06 to enforce parking compliance of University parking regulations. A citation will be issued to any vehicle parking in violation of published or posted parking regulations.
Refusal to pay fines, fees, or forfeitures will result in holds on University records, vehicle tow and impoundment, referral to a collection agency and possible DMV hold.
Student permit spaces will be enforced September 4, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. through May 16, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. Exceptions to Student permit enforcement include J-Term. Enforcement for Spring Break will be determined on a yearly basis and will be communicated. Student permit spaces are not enforced during the summer , however faculty/staff (employee) permit spaces, restricted spaces, and meters are enforced year round.
The Parking Department is responsible for the enforcement of parking regulations on University lands. Parking on the city streets is enforced by the River Falls Police Department. To receive information regarding city parking, refer to their website at www.rfcity.org/police .
Vehicles found parking in violation of University regulations may be towed and impounded at the operator's expense.
