In order to communicate with the broad constituency of the campus community, the Communication Plan was developed by the Communications and Events Planning Task Force and followed. The plan included the following elements.
The objectives were to encourage transparency and collaboration, promote awareness and participation, inform the campus, and communicate results to a broad external audience.
Modes of delivery internally included the Campus Website, email and Falcon Daily, D2L, campus publications, student media, social media, and face-to-face meetings (Town Hall meetings, Opening Meetings, college/unit meetings, and shared governance meetings).
Modes of delivery externally included the RiverTowns newspapers website, local newspapers, local television stations, and local radio stations.
