Bio:



SFC Gary Robinson is from Crosby, MN. He enlisted in the Army in 1978 as a Finance and Accounting Specialist. He served at Fort Carson, CO. and in New Ulm, Germany with the fourth Infantry Division until 1985.

He served in the Army Reserves with the 367th Engineer Battalion at Brainerd MN. From 1986-1992 in the Military Occupational Skills of Nuclear Biological and Chemical Warfare Specialist and as a Combat Engineer.

SFC Robinson was assigned to the 1st/340th Training Support Command in Arden Hills MN. Where he prepared mobilized units for deployment from 1993-1997.

He returned to Brainerd and served as a Platoon Sergeant and Acting First Sergeant with the 367th Engineer Battalion from 1997 -2000.


SFC Robinson returned to Active Duty in 2000 where he served as an Army Recruiter in Brainerd MN. Until 2005 then transferred to Wisconsin and Recruited for three more years before joining the ROTC Program.

His Military Education includes Primary Leadership and Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Advanced Non-Commissioned Officer Course and Observer Controller Course.

SFC Robinson received his civilian education thru Central Lakes Community College and North Central Institute. He is currently working on his Bachelors Degree thru Post University.

SFC Robinson awards are the Army Commedation Medals, Army Achievement Medals, Good Conduct Medals, Overseas Ribbons for Active and Reserve US Army Recruiting Badge (Gold), US Army Recruiting Ring ,Expert Drivers Badge and the German Marksmanship Badge.

His civic experiences are a Certified Fire Fighter I and II with Hazardous Materials Training  and  a First Responder with the state of MN. High School Track Coach 11 years. Bronco League Baseball Coach 7 years. City Council Member 8 years.
