Attire and Announcements

Cap & Gown

Candidates participating in commencement must wear appropriate attire. You may purchase regalia at the Falcon Shop four weeks prior to commencement or through Herff Jones . If you already have a cap and gown, please remember, it must be black. If it is not black, you will not be allowed to participate in commencement. Tassels must be purchased at the Falcon Shop.  The Falcon Shop is located in the University Center and you may contact them at 715-425-3962 or bookstore@uwrf.edu.

Graduate Students

• Receiving a masters degree must also order a hood through the Falcon Shop.
• Regalia must be pre-ordered by March 25 for the Fall ceremony and November 1 for the Spring ceremony.
  
• Please check with the Falcon Shop regarding the color of the hood for their degree.
• Flowers and decorative jewelry may not be worn on the academic gown.

Announcements

Personalized commencement announcements may be ordered through the Falcon Shop. Blank commencement announcements may also be purchased at the Falcon Shop.
