Mission: To help children reach their potential through professionally supported one-to-one relationships with measurable impact. Our vision consists of successful mentoring relationships for all children who need and want them contributing to better schools, brighter futures, and stronger communities for all.
Volunteer Opportunities: Think about the mentors in your own life, the people who opened a wider world to you - your elementary music teacher, your 70-year-old neighbor, your first supervisor, your college professor - because that is why we are here - to give more children the experience of having a role model and friend. Take time to consider where your life would be had it not been for those who willingly stepped in and gave of themselves - their energy, their passion, their skills in order to help you along in your journey.
Now consider the hundreds of children right here in Northwestern Wisconsin who are hoping for that experience, ready to be matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister. Think about how you can help make it happen, become a Big today. We offer our lunch buddies program where you would meet with your little brother or sister in a community elementary or middle school, the University Friends program, where you meet with your little brother or sister right on campus, or our community based program, where you meet with your little brother or sister on your time, out in the community doing the things you both love to do together.
We also offer competitive internships in marketing, public relations and fund development.
