What does Block mean?
Block classes are unique to TED. They expose the student to a taste of teaching before Student Teaching takes place. During the first four weeks of the semester students experience intensive on-campus course work for each of the classes in a particular block. The rest of the semester they are in local schools, working with classroom teachers. Candidates must have completed the prerequisites to register for Block I, successfully complete Block I before moving to Block II and complete Block II before moving on to Student Teaching.
