The college of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences has earned an outstanding reputation for excellence in education and service to the region, nation, and the world since 1912. Graduates are employed in government, private enterprise, education, food and agricultural sciences, biotechnology, agricultural business, and resource management.
The College of Arts and Sciences provides degree programs in the humanities and fine arts, the sciences and mathematics and the social and behavioral sciences. The college also provides the basis for a solid general education program for all UWRF students regardless of their area of specialization.
The College of Business and Economic is accredited by AACSB International - Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Fewer than 5% of business schools worldwide have achieved this standard in business education.
The College of Education and Professional Studies provides visionary leadership in the field of education to prepare ethical reflective practitioners through state-of-the-art, high quality professional education programs that are based on essential knowledge, relevant research and sound practice to provide empowering professional development opportunities for regional educators.
Every spring the call center on campus is alive with excitement as students seek support for the Fund for Excellence campaigns by phoning alumni and friends of UWRF. These campaigns provide financial assistance that goes directly to the colleges and provides support for a wide variety of initiatives.
