University Communications Multimedia provides a visual image of the university. Requests for photo and video services are prioritized according to the intended use of the images generated. The following are the guidelines for prioritization:
- Critical - Images will be used in external marketing pieces associated with student recruitment or fundraising
- High - Images will be used for campus-wide publications or external marketing pieces for purposes other than student recruitment and fundraising
- Medium - Images will be used for departmental publications or displays
- Low - Images are for archival purposes
Please note that photo and video services will not be provided for personal milestones including retirement and birthday parties.
University employees needing professional head shots are encouraged to schedule an appointment.

- Date and location of event
- Approximate times photographic services are needed
- Nature of event and subjects to be photographed
- Intended use of images provided.

Photographs Fall 2011 - Present
are available via the UWRF photoshelter site. This site offers galleries, collections, and a helpful search feature. You will be asked to complete a free registration with photoshelter before downloading images.
Photographs February 2005 - July 2011 are maintained in our traditional photo archive. To request a high resolution image from this archive, copy the file name and send a request to kathy.helgeson@uwrf.edu.
