Reserve a Room for On-Campus Events

Your room reservation will automatically place the date, time, title and location of your event on the calendar.

To include additional information such as a detailed description, photos, or documents for download, proceed to the Calendar Submission Page.

Submit a Calendar Event

  1. Select the calendar or calendars on which the event should appear. Which Calendar should I choose? To bring special attention to an event with a broad audience, choose the Featured Events calendar.

  2. Fill in the fields. Most are self-explanatory. Others needing description include:

    Location: has a magnifying glass that allows you to see the building choices.
    Location URL: Can be a Web page that you have for the event,
    or the URL for the map to that building.
    Event Description: Should be a concise description pasted from plain text and then formatted (add more extensive information in the Custom Fields Tab at the bottom under Additional Info).
    View Source: Shows you the html code for the text in Event Description.
    Add Image: Allows you to include an image, such as a photo of a speaker.
    Emails Tab: You can send an email to people you want to invite. Separate email
    addresses with commas or semicolons.
    Attachments Tab: You can include attachments for download from the calendar,
    such as registration forms or brochures.

  3. Click Preview to see what your entry will look like.

  4. Close the Preview and Click Submit.

Submit a Notice to Falcon Daily

Falcon Daily Event notices will be taken from the Calendar listing.

Items for Falcon Daily that are not appropriate for the Calendar of Events should be submitted separately. Examples would include a General Announcement such as H1N1 Flu updates, administrative notices, or information regarding departmental moves and other non-calendar items.
