Publications Guide

The publications office provides services to all UW-River Falls departments, support areas, and programs that wish to communicate through the printed piece and on the World Wide Web. From the initial concept through the design and proofing stages to completion of the product, the publications office can provide the assistance needed for your printed materials and Web site pages.

It is our goal to provide consistent, quality publications and Web pages that reflect the image of the university. All types of printed publications for both internal and external use are produced, including brochures, books, booklets, cards, flyers, forms, posters, and programs. The publications office is responsible for the design and production of university stationery, including letterhead, envelopes, note cards, and business cards. In addition, the office publishes all major catalogs and bulletins, the campus telephone directory, and the alumni periodical Falcon Features. The publications office also provides design, production, and maintenance support for all university department Web sites, and places university catalogs and other publications on the Web.

The publications office serves as liaison between UW-River Falls and the Wisconsin State Department of Administration purchasing area in providing administrative support and ensuring compliance with state contract printing regulations per Wisconsin statutes (see the Legal and Copyright Considerations section on page 12 and the Off-Campus Printing subsection on page 16).
