David Smith Stadium at Ramer Field
David Smith Stadium recognizes the lead gift from the Smith family and First National Bank of River Falls in memory of David M. Smith who was a passionate football fan of both the Falcons and the River Falls High School Wildcats. The natural grass turf at Ramer Field at Smith Stadium was replaced with Astro Turf 3D Series Synthetic Turf Product in fall 2014. Surrounding the football field is a nine-lane 400m outdoor track, pole vault and long/triple jump runways, and throwing event venues. Available for reservation throughout the year, David Smith Stadium at Ramer Field is great for football, soccer, lacrosse, track and field meets, and other opportunities. Since installing the new turf, the field has hosted everything from intramural championships under the lights to community youth athletic events to regional marching band contests. Ramer Field’s versatility has grown immensly.
