The U.S. Department of State issues Travel Advisories to provide information about the relative safety of traveling to various international destinations. The Advisories range from Level 1 (lowest) to Level 4 (highest). During the Covid-19 pandemic, an interim travel request process is in place to ensure UW-River Falls' timely response to dynamic global conditions. This interim travel request process allows for consideration of individual travel to destinations otherwise prohibited by the UWRF policy for International Education and Globalization Programs and Activities (AP-01-203), including desinations with level 4 U.S. Deapartment of State Travel Advisories.

You must receive permission from the UWRF International Risk Management group for travel to destinations with a level 3 or 4 Travel Advisory. Complete the form below in detail and submit to the Office of International Education at studyabroad@uwrf.edu at least 8 weeks prior to planned departure:
