UWRF Campus Description

A short UWRF campus description should appear in major communications. The following statement, or a condensed version of it, may be used.

"The University of Wisconsin-River Falls (UWRF) is a member of the Universities of Wisconsin and is located in scenic western Wisconsin in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. UW-River Falls offers easily accessible year-round arts, cultural and recreational opportunities. Approximately 6,000 undergraduate and graduate students pursue degrees in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences; the College of Arts and Sciences; the College of Education, Business and Allied Health; and the Outreach and Continuing Education Office. The university provides an excellent environment for learning, emphasizing the importance of faculty/student interaction in classrooms, laboratories, and academic advising and co-curricular activities. A favorable student/faculty ratio affords opportunity for meaningful interchange between faculty and students. Strong interests in teaching, research, international experience and community service are highly valued."
