April 5, 2024 – The University of Wisconsin-River Falls has received funding for a new endowed scholarship designed to benefit students from Hudson with a love of education.

April 11, 2024 - University of Wisconsin-River Falls senior BFA candidates Serena Ben-Avraham, Emily Bos, Hannah Ferguson, Isabelle Hammond, Mina Lee, Piper Richter, and Megan Spott will present their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree exhibitions in Gallery 101 in the Kleinpell Fine Arts building April 12-May 3. The free exhibition includes graphic design, painting, printmaking, and ceramics.

April 18, 2024 - Travis Crow, the Spring 2024 Walker D. and Helen Bryant Wyman Visiting Professor in Art at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, will deliver a free public lecture on Monday, April 29, from 5-6:30 p.m. in North Hall Auditorium.
 
Board of Regents president to speak at UW-River Falls commencement
April 19, 2024 - The president of the Universities of Wisconsin Board of Regents will be the keynote speaker at this year’s University of Wisconsin-River Falls spring commencement on Saturday, May 4, an opportunity she sought after visiting the campus in October 2023.
 
UW-River Falls to host May 2 event to discuss Veterans’ mental health
April 19, 2024 – The University of Wisconsin-River Falls will host a Thursday, May 2, discussion about mental health concerns among Veterans and military students, an event made possible by a $5,000 grant the university has received to support that population.
 
Striking gold: Efforts to improve sustainability net UW-River Falls its highest rating
April 22, 2024 – From helping stage Earth Fest in conjunction with Earth Day, to creating a bee hotel and a surrounding pollinator-friendly garden, the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Sustainability Office and partners have taken an increasingly active role on campus and in the surrounding community.

April 24, 2024 – The University of Wisconsin-River Falls has received a $5,000 grant to help fund a variety of wellness initiatives on campus that include addressing mental health needs.
 
UW-River Falls to host speakers about free speech May 6
April 25, 2024 – As civil liberties challenges are playing out in real time at colleges across the country, the University of Wisconsin-River Falls will host two speakers on May 6 with a nationally known organization to discuss the importance of first amendment rights on campuses.
 
Second Jerome family member honored with Wisconsin Distinguished Agriculturalist Award
April 29, 2024 - Lawrence F. Jerome has been named the 2024 Wisconsin Distinguished Agriculturalist by the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences (CAFES) at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Jerome was the owner of Jerland Farms until his passing earlier this year.
 
Reaffirming a commitment to students
April 30, 2024 - Shortly after enrolling at Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) last year, Holly Hufnagle learned she might not receive college credit for some of the Advanced Placement (AP) coursework she had completed in high school.
