Gretchen Link 

Personal Counselor
Gretchen Link, MSW/ACSW, LicSW: Gretchen is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with experience in a variety of service areas - personal issues, academic concerns, and career matters. She works with students on an individual basis and in group educational sessions.  She coordinates the Employee Assistance Program, which provides counseling services to all faculty and staff.

Jennifer Elsesser 

Intake Counselor
Jennifer Elsesser, M.S., LPC: Jennifer is a Licensed Counselor who meets with all individuals seeking counseling for their first session. During that time, Jennifer will assess the individual's needs and make recommendations based on his/her goals. She has worked with a variety of issues and concerns such as depression, adjustment to college, relationship difficulties, body image issues, and stress management. Jennifer also has a background in health education and career development.

Jennifer Herink 

Personal Counselor
Jennifer Herink, M.S. LPC, CSAC: Jennifer is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor.  She has experience and training working with trauma issues, chemical dependency, family of origin, depression and anxiety. Jennifer believes in looking at the whole person, mind/body/spirit to help identify each person's true nature. Jennifer is a member of the Veteran Issues Group on campus. Jennifer is credentialed in anger management.

Mark Huttemier 

Personal Counselor
Mark Huttemier, MA, LPC, LP (MN): Mark is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Minnesota. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Wisconsin. He is experienced in individual and group counseling. He specializes in stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Mark incorporates identity development, positive relationship building, balanced living, and skills for healthy thinking, to support students in reaching their personal and academic goals while in college. Mark is credentialed in anger management.

Jennifer Wilson 

Personal Counselor
Jennifer Wilson, Ph.D., LP:
Jennifer is a Licensed Psychologist with experience in university counseling centers working with students addressing a wide variety of concerns including: interpersonal relationships, life transitions, academic and career questions, stress management, adjustment to college, identity development and depression and anxiety. Jennifer seeks to work with clients to establish a strong working relationship and to support personal growth and wellness. In addition to individual counseling, Jennifer is also very interested in groups, assessments and counselor development.

 

Practicum Counselor
Mary Benson, M.A.
   Mary is a counseling practicum student in her second year at the University of St Thomas' Doctoral Program in Counseling Psychology. She has experience working with body image concerns, anxiety, chemical dependency, and depression. Mary is excited to help students meet their personal goals through counseling. She provides individual and group therapy.

Alice Reilly-Myklebust 

Director of Counseling and Student Health Services
Alice Reilly-Myklebust, RN, Ph.D.: provides general oversight of Counseling and Student Health Services and coordinates the provision of care by various contracted providers. She also serves on campus as a health issues resource and consultant and works with students, staff, faculty, administration, and members of the community to develop and carry out policies and programming for the optimal health of students.
