Internship Prerequisites

In order to be eligible for a SBE internship, you must

• Be a full-time Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management or Marketing major, in good academic standing.

• Complete a minimum of 60 credits including the following courses for the respective majors listed:

1. Accounting: Lower Division Business Requirements and ACCT 321, 356
2. Business Administration: Lower Division Business Requirements and MNGT 300, MKTG 310 and FINC 345
3. Economics: Econ 201, Econ 202 and Econ 226 (or its equivalent), with a grade of C+ or better
4. Finance: FINC 345
5. Management:  Lower Division Business Requirements and MNGT 300, MKTG 310 and FINC 345
6. Marketing: Lower Division Business Requirements and MNGT 300, MKTG 310 and FINC 345

• Obtain approval from your Department Chair.

*Your GPA and major courses may also be considered in the selection process.
