UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
Advising resources are available to admitted, pre-admitted and prospective candidates. A faculty member or a full time advisor will guide and mentor you as you progress in your program. An undergraduate candidate is required to meet with his/her advisor at least once each semester to review progress and plan for future semesters. Graduate students are strongly encouraged to meet regularly with an advisor once a semester, but it's not required.
Advising programs are active year-round programs. Peek advising times are registration (October/early November) and (March/early April) and New Student Registration during early June.
The relationship between adviser and advisee is one of shared responsibility. You are entering a new point in your life, which involves many choices and decisions. Your advisor is here to assist you during your academic career in the College of Education and Professional Studies.
