The University Center Building Manager position is the glue that makes everything happen in the University Center a reality. From the oversight of meeting and events, to building security and safety, the University Center Building Manager is the point of contact person for all groups using the University Center facilities. This is normally an academic year appointment and requires day, evening and weekend hours. Summer hours are also available.
The University Center has three levels of Custodial positions available for undergraduate student employees. Student Custodial staff work in teams to keep the University Center sparkling clean and pleasant. All Custodial positions are conveniently during the evening and weekend hours during the academic year.
The Campus Information Desk Staff is an undergraduate student employee working at the Information Desk in the University Center. You could be the smiling face someone will see when they are lost or need help. Information Desk staff help students, professional staff, and the public, in person and on the phone. If you have customer service experience, you should apply for this fun and challenging job. This position gets to work during the day, in the evening and on the weekends too.
A Campus Reservations Student Assistant is an undergraduate student position. This position is the primary campus reservations staff person that schedule meetings and events for groups and departments on campus. The ability to pay close attention to details, and follow through with excellent written and verbal communications skills are required. This position is very fun because you get to help people plan important events and meetings. This position requires reservations desk coverage during the standard academic business day and some evening hours.
The University Center Production Services Department has three levels of undergraduate student employment. The Production Services Department team members are responsible for the audio, lighting, video and room setup support for all events in the University Center, plus many other areas of campus. This is a really fun position that can help you expand your skills and abilities with production support in a professional venue. Other work includes equipment maintenance, staff safety and technical training and working with professional artists. This position requires daytime, night, weekend, summer and winter work availability.
The Events Intern is responsible for supporting a diverse and comprehensive schedule of campus events, programs, and engagement opportunities sponsored by the Office of Student Involvement. This position will collaborate with other office Interns and the University Center staff to maintain organized, informative, and entertaining experiences.
The Social Media Intern will be responsible for the Student Involvement image, graphic, and marketing efforts as well as assisting in developing a plan for and implementing the management of various marketing and social media.
The Student Organizations Management Intern is responsible for working directly with the 150+ student organizations at UWRF. This position will collaborate with the Student Association Student Senate and the University Center staff.
The Video Productions Intern will be responsible for the creation of marketing videos, as well as assisting in developing a plan for and implementing the management of various marketing media.
The Studen Organization Finance Intern will work with the Budget and Operations Specialist in the Office of Student Involvement. The Intern will work in the Involvement Center and oversee day-to-day management related to the budget and operations of the student organizations, while serving as direct support in the Office of Student Involvement.
