Thanks to a FEMA pre-disaster mitigation planning grant, a local planning team is working with URS Corporation to update the Hazard Mitigation Plan for UWRF. This project will continue to guide the University towards greater disaster resistance, which contributes to a more sustainable University community. There will be an open forum meeting held Thursday, July 25th at 11:00am on campus at the University Center in the Trimbelle Room #231. Members of UWRF and the River Falls Community are invited to attend and provide input during the next meeting. For more information please call the Risk Management Department at 715-425-3344. You are invited to review the latest draft of the plan
before attending the meeting.
