The Chancellor's Awards
Each year, the Chancellor honors students and staff who have demonstrated excellence during their time at UWRF. Award nominations and announcements happen throughout the year - explore below for information on the nomination processes, awards criteria and current and past honorees.

Chancellor's Award for Students
In recognition of the leadership, service and commitment that distinguish our most outstanding students, this honor has been awarded annually since 1980 to a small number of juniors, seniors and graduate students. UWRF faculty, staff and students can nominate a UWRF student for this award.
To be considered for the award, students must be nominated by and obtain letters of support from UWRF faculty, staff and fellow students during the spring nomination period. A selection committee reviews nominees and identifies finalists who are then invited for an in-person interview with the committee, accompanied by their nominator. Awards are presented at the annual Chancellor's Awards Reception.
