As a UW-River Falls alum, you have access to a number of resources ranging from career assistance, tuition discounts for eligible children and grandchildren, personalized license plates and more. Explore below to take advantage of all the resources available to our alumni.
Support Falcons while you spend!
In 1998, WESTconsin Credit Union and University Advancement joined efforts to create a credit card program that could be used by alumni, friends of UWRF, students, faculty and staff. The program offers the following card options: VISA and Platinum VISA, both which earn CU Rewards. Each time cardholders use their cards, WESTconsin returns a percentage of each purchase to the UW-River Falls Foundation. These dollars are then deposited into the Falcon Annual Fund. The Falcon Annual Fund is used for the University's highest priorities.

- Don't want another credit card? Switch to a better one! We can transfer your other credit card balances to a UWRF affinity card.
- Each new VISA card issued adds $1 into the fund, each Platinum VISA card adds $5 into the fund.
How do I apply?
APPLY TODAY! Click on the link below to visit the WESTconsin Credit Union application website. Once your application is complete, a WCU representative will call you to define your credit card choice. Let them know you'd like the UW- River Falls VISA or Platinum VISA! You may also call WESTconsin Credit Union directly at 715-425-8113 or 800-924-0022 to have an application mailed to you. Once your application is approved, you will have your card within approximately 10 working days.

The Board of Regents of the UW System has authorized a program offering discounted tuition to the nonresident children and grandchildren of eligible alumni who have received a degree from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Participants in the program will pay a lower tuition rate which represents a 25% reduction from the regular, non-resident undergraduate academic fee rate.

What is an opt-out?
An opt-out occurs when someone clicks the "SafeUnsubscribe" link in our emails, which subsequently unsubscribes that person from all of our electronic mailings.
What happens when I opt-out?
When you unsubscribes from one of our emails, you are added to the Do Not Mail list for all of our Constant Contact emails. This prevents us from electronically mailing to you again. However, you if you have opted-out, you can add yourself back by opting-in here. You could also opt-in by emailing us at alumni@uwrf.edu and letting us know you'd like to get back on the email list.
To complete the opt-in process you MUST complete the steps in the confirmation email that is sent to you after you submit your request.

Fridays are spirit day on campus, when many at UWRF sport Falcon red and white apparel. But every day can be UWRF spirit day for your car! Personalized license plates featuring the UW-River Falls logo are available to Wisconsin vehicle owners.* Plates can be personalized with up to six characters (letters and numbers). The license plates are not only a great way to display your UWRF pride but also a way to support the university. The plates run an extra $20 per set but the full $20 is returned to the university and pooled in a special scholarship fund. The Director of Financial Aid disperses the scholarship dollars to help students in difficult circumstances. The more UWRF license plates on the road, the more we can help students in need!
