Chancellor's Scholars

At UWRF, the Chancellor's Scholars Scholarship is our most elite and selective scholarship. It provides either a $9,000 or $4,500 yearly scholarship to a small number of full-time, incoming first-year students. If you remain in good academic standing (at least a 3.0 GPA), the scholarship is renewable for up to four years. In addition, you'll also be eligible to apply for a stiped of up to $2,000 to be used for a university-sanctioned educational study abroad experience or an undergraduate research project.

Stand Out, Get Involved!

Being a Chancellor’s Scholar means more than simply receiving a scholarship, it means you stand out from a crowd of intelligent, involved and dedicated students. Each year, only 1-2% of applicants are awarded a scholarship and selected as an unofficial ambassador of UWRF. We encourage you to pursue leadership activities on campus and to get involved with a variety of student groups and clubs.

Each fall, Chancellor's Scholars are invited to an exclusive meal with the Chancellor and each spring, your work and involvement are highlighted at an invitation-only Chancellor's Scholars Showcase. As a Chancellor's Scholar, you're among the best and the brightest at UWRF and we want to celebrate you!
